Our Heritage

Rassbach Realty has a strong history providing exceptional real estate services to Dunn County residents including Menomonie, Colfax, Elk Mound, Boyceville, Wheeler and the surrounding communities.

Rassbach Realty was first established in June of 1961 at 616 3rd St. E. The office moved to 620 Wilson Avenue on December 7, 1978. In October of 1989, the office was moved to its present location of 2106 Stout Road to ensure better parking, more office space, and greater visibility.

Rassbach Realty was organized and founded by Gerald (Tib) Rassbach after being a newspaper editor and publisher for over 31 years. Gerald was well known for his honesty, creative writing skills, family values, and solid work ethic.

Gerald's son, Nick, joined his father's business in the fall of 1969 after graduating from UW-Stout and serving in the US Army. Nick became the owner of Rassbach Realty in January of 1981. Nick went on to serve this community in real estate and appraising for 55+ years. Nick passed away in November 2025 — he was still working full time at the young age of 78. We thank Nick for all of his dedication, commitment and mentoring over the years.

Nick's daughter, Jill, first licensed in 1996, chose to join her father full time in 2007 making Rassbach Realty a successful third generation family business. Nick and Jill fondly worked as business partners for the years 2007-2025 helping generations of families with all of their real estate needs. Today, Jill is the owner and operator and appreciates the opportunity to carry the torch forward! With Jill's education at the University of MN Carlson School of Management and prior corporate work experience at Ford Motor company combined with 30+ years of being licensed now in real estate, Jill, is very capable and ready to help you! Jill loves selling real estate and working with people, and it shows!

Erik Davidson became a very valued Rassbach Realty team member in June of 2010. Erik obtained his real estate license in 2003 and today has over 20+ years of experience to offer! Erik knows the area well, works hard, is a great communicator and will do anything to help. Rassbach Realty is fortunate to have him on board!
